General Web Science No Comments »

Last Friday I was privileged be present at CERN for the 20th anniversary celebrations of the Web. It was great to catch up with old friends and muse about the Web’s past and future. Tim Berners-Lee was in fine spirit and it was especially fun to see him power up the first Web server again and discuss the merits of his early coding efforts. It’s easy to forget that he actually cranked out code to get the Web kick started, but that’s exactly what he did.
